A Cat and the Big Fish

One sunny morning, a fat(胖的) cat walks slowly by the river(河流). He wants to catch a big fish for his breakfast. He thinks it is an easy choice.

The cat waits for a minute. Suddenly(突然), a big fish comes out. The cat jumps quickly(飞快地), but he falls into the water! He has a stomachache from laughing and running.

Some little birds watch him and hold their breath. The cat wants to stop and take a rest. However, he doesn’t want to fall behind. He chooses to run on, shaking(甩动) water all the way.

At last, the cat walks back slowly. He doesn’t get the fish, but he still looks confident. Everyone cheers for the funny cat. Doing his best makes him happy.
