A Rabbit and the Carrot

One day, a little rabbit finds a big, red carrot in the field(田地). He is very happy and wants to take it home.

But the carrot is too heavy(重的). He pulls and pulls, but he can’t move it. He runs around and feels a stomachache. He wants to stop and take a rest.

Some small chickens watch him and hold their breath. The rabbit thinks for a minute. He can choose to give up(放弃), or he can try again. He chooses to try his best.

He pulls slowly and funny. At last, he moves the carrot a little. Everyone cheers for him.

Finally, he takes the carrot home slowly. He is tired but still confident(自信的). What a funny and lovely rabbit!
