As a child, my dream was to become a good surfer. One day, I went to the beach and tried real(真正的) surfing for the first time. I stood on the surfsurfboard and tried to catch small waves(浪花).

Suddenly, I saw a shadow(影子) in the water. I thought it was a shark and it would attack me! I was so afraid that I nearly fell into the water and nearly died of scare. I moved so quickly that I thought I lost my left arm.

All of the people around me laughed. They told me to give up surfing, but I decided to keep going. I told them things could go either way. I stood up again and kept practicing. Soon I could surf a little and felt very happy.
