A Smart Boy and the Letter

One day, little Tom walks into a post office. He wants to send a letter to his dear grandma. He takes off(摘下) his hat and holds a small bag in his hand. He puts the bag carefully into the post box(邮筒).

A kind(友好的) worker sees him and helps him with the letter. Tom looks at the mirror and smiles happily. He says to himself, “Doing good can grow happiness.”

Time goes fast. Finally, Tom receives a letter from his grandma. Her warm words make him feel happy and loved. He thinks that happiness springs from love and kindness. Being kind and helping others can bring enough happiness to everyone. Tom feels smart and warm, and he wants to do good again and again(一次又一次).
