A Kind Barber’s Shop

One day, an old woman walks into a barber’s shop. She takes off her hat slowly. Her long hair falls around(垂落) her shoulders. All customers feel surprised.

The barber wants to cut her hair short. But the old woman says she needs wigs for friends with cancer. She grows long hair to help them.

She walks to the post office sometimes. She puts her hair into a bag and sends(寄) it. She often receives a letter with warm words. She smiles and says to herself, “Happiness springs from doing good.”

Finally, she looks in the mirror. She is still smart and happy. She knows time is kind to those who help others(其他人).
