My Dream of Being a Surfer

As a child, I had a very funny dream. I wanted to become a great surfer. I thought surfing was cool, so I practiced on my chair every day.

One day, I imagined(想象) a big shark wanted to attack me. I was so afraid that I fell off(摔下来) the chair. I nearly died from laughing, not from the shark! I thought I lost my left arm, but it was just under my body.

All of my family laughed loudly. They told me to give up surfing, but I decided to keep going. I told them things could go either way. I still kept practicing(练习) my “surfing” at home. What a silly but happy dream!
