My Friend’s Surfing Try

Today my friend wants to ride the waves, but he is very afraid. His dream is to stand on(站在) the surfboard, but he thinks it is not possible. Every minute, he looks worried and wants to give up.

I tell him to work hard and try hard. I say he can enjoy the fun of waves and never give up. I cheer for him every time he falls. He practices again and again.

At last, he can stand on the surfboard for a short time. He doesn’t get a big achievement, but he is so happy. We both enjoy the day. I am proud(骄傲) of him.
