Funny Bright Side Moments

This morning was a mess(糟糕的)! I spilled(洒) milk on my clothes and missed(错过) the school bus. I thought it was all bad things, and I felt sad.

My mom had different opinions. She said, “Look on the bright side!” She gave me a funny hat to cover my messy(乱糟糟的) hair, and my dad drove me to school. On the way, we found a cute(可爱的) dog, which was one of the good things.

At school, my teacher said I was brave(勇敢) to come late(迟到) with a smile. I believe that even bad things can have a bright side. We don’t need to expect the same good things every day—other funny surprises are always waiting(等待)!

Now I know: looking on the bright side makes even messy days funny and happy. Life is full of fun if we open our eyes!
